My Design Philosophy
THE GAMARATIVE FRAMEWORK
An ongoing venture to study and explain Narrative Design in digital games;
the Gamarative Framework identifies four holistic areas in any Game design process
for narrative design intervention:
Protagonist design, establishing unity of player and character
Who is the
player?
Narrative build up over interactive systems and gameplay progression
What can the player do?
How does the player feel?
The tone, mood or feel of the game. The grand unification factor that sustains the suspension of disbelief
